I arrived feeling inconsistent, tired and completely out of rhythm. The structure, coaching and setting made it much easier to reset than trying to do it alone.

Seamus Casey, founder of Wild Atlantic Bootcamp

Founder story

Built by someone who has lived the change, not just coached it.

About Seamus

Seamus built this retreat from personal experience, not theory.

In late 2019, Seamus Casey hit a serious turning point. He was living with type 2 diabetes, high blood pressure, sleep apnoea and a weight of around 165kg. After attending a residential bootcamp himself, he lost 13.5kg in his first three weeks, rebuilt his confidence and kept going.

Over time he lost around 65kg, moved from walking a single lap of a football pitch to running a full marathon, and created Wild Atlantic Bootcamp to give other people the same kind of turning point, support and belief in what is possible.

Frequently asked

A few direct answers remove hesitation fast.

Here are the most common questions guests ask before they commit to a stay.

Do I need to be fit before I arrive?+

No. Guests arrive at different stages, and sessions are coached according to ability, mobility and confidence level.

Is accommodation shared?+

The premium positioning is based around private en-suite accommodation, not dorm-style rooms. That remains a key differentiator of the stay.

What happens after I apply?+

The team reviews fit, confirms the right stay format and then moves the guest toward availability, booking and onboarding through the private platform.

How are intake dates confirmed?+

Yes. Once your application is reviewed, the team confirms the right intake dates and next steps for your stay.
